What is “Kelas Inspirasi” ?

is an initiative to inspire Jakarta’s primary school students using your story of profession. We invite professionals from various job line to step up from their working environment and stand infront of the class full of curious students. Share the value of their job ,  spread the positivity and inspire the kids to dream higher.

We believe by motivating students to dream , they will have one other strong reason to stay in school.

Who is eligible for this initiative ?

1. Professional from various background and working environment with minimum 1 year experience. No limitation on age.
2. Willing to take a leave on the Inspiration Day (25th April 2012).
3. Passionate, positive and inspiring.

Who are the people behind Kelas Inspirasi ?

Lets collectively blame Indonesia Mengajar Foundation for this awesome movement. Brewing from their super secret HQ, they assemble hordes of Jakarta superheroes preparing for this. Included in it young professional volunteer, professional educators, some alumni of @pengajarmuda, a rockstar career coach and Anies Baswedan himself.

not mentioning Batman, all of The Flying Dutchman crew and platoon of seal team six.

that was a joke actually.

Where and when this is going to roll ?

We will invade 25 poor-conditioned primary school in Jakarta area simultaneously on 25th April 2012. List of the schools will be announced afterwards in indonesiamengajar.org.

So why should i join this Kelas Inspirasi thing ?

There are approximately 50 million poor students in Indonesia right now. What if the factor that makes them quit or keep schooling is the audacity of their dream. This is your chance to be their dream. Inspire our under-privileged little brothers and sisters using your profession and motivate them to stay in schools.

On a lighter note. If you think defending your analisys infront of room full of managers is your most bad ass presentation experience, try explaining your daily routine to primary school students.

Hell yeah, you will think again.
